About This Product

Thompson's Multidophilus capsules provide 6 billion organisms per capsule of three types of beneficial bacteria for the gut plus 300mg of Oligofructose. The balance between good and bad bacteria in turn affects: nutritional status; efficacy of medications; physiological function; aging; cancer; immune response; infection and your personal comfort. Several factors can deplete good (probiotic) bacteria and upset intestinal balance, including: antibiotics; other drugs; bacterial, viral and fungal infections; highly processed, low fibre foods; chronic diarrhoea. Gains from beneficial bacteria include: production of vitamins, especially Vitamin B and Vitamin K; increased absorption of minerals like calcium. Probiotics produce antibiotic substances to control pathogenic bacteria, candida and fungi, and help normalise bowel function for people with constipation and irritible bowel problems.

Adults - Take 1-2 capsules daily one hour prior to food, or as directed by your health professional.
