About This Product

SENNA KLENZ Tea

Senna Klenz is a special blend of herbs with a natural lemon & lime flavour; especially useful as a tea in combination with a high fibre diet, great to take before or after a meal.

Senna (Cassia angustifolia) originally comes from Egypt and goes by the name of Alexandrian senna. Its leaves are used for medicinal purposes to promote bowel regularity.

Fennel seed (Foeniculum vulgare) acts as a digestive aid which is beneficial for gas and bloating. It can also support respiratory health and milk flow in breastfeeding women.

Cleavers (Galium aparine) is also known as goosegrass and catchweed because of its sticky leaves. It has long been valued as a tonic for the lymphatic system. It is beneficial for healthy skin and supports a healthy lymphatic system.

Couch grass (Agropyron repens) has fluid balancing and demulcent properties.

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), also known as soldier’s herb, has been used medicinally for centuries for its antiseptic properties and provides support for fluid balance, healthy blood pressure, muscle relaxation and digestive health.

Rose hips ( Rosa spp.) are fruits of the rose that appear in late summer or fall. It has a zesty acidic but fruity taste due to the rich amount of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) present. Fresh rose hips are found to contain 60 times as much vitamin C as oranges. This makes rose hips beneficial for supporting the immune system, skin health and integrity, digestive health and as a liver tonic.

Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) has a reputation as a soothing and healing plant. It has demulcent, emollient, and expectorant actions. Marshmallow is useful for digestive health, respiratory health and urinary health.

Ginger root (Zingiber officinale) is highly recognised as a spice. It has been used medicinally for thousands of years by Chinese physicians. It acts as an antioxidant. Ginger supports liver function, healthy cholesterol, queasiness and digestion, as well as having beneficial effects on the heart. Ginger is also valued for its warming properties.
